Sante Fe Stoneworkers

My boyfriend picked up an excellent pocket knife recently while we were spending a leisurely Sunday in Mystic, CT. He had been itching to find another one to add to his collection, but certainly hadn’t expected to find it in a small home goods store in downtown Mystic. Made by Sante Fe Stoneworkers with black onyx and turqoise inlay and a blade made of the all-powerful Damascus steel, not only will this little knife look pretty, its sturdy blade will withhold anything you throw at its edge. Sante Fe Stoneworkers get their Damascus Steel from Japan. With a core of vg-10 steel and 16 layers of stainless steel on each side, this “sanmai damascus” is rust free and insanely durable . . . so really, it will handle pretty much anything you whittle at.

  1. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a pretty knife!
