Forestbound for Anthropologie

I am so thrilled to see that one of my favorite artisans, Forestbound, was chosen by Anthropologie to create a limited edition collection for their new accessories shop in Bethesda, MD and at their shop in Union Square, NYC.  Only 75 bags were created in two styles, a tote with leather shoulder straps and a duffle with handles and a shoulder strap. The bags were made from canvas salvaged from grain sacks dating from 1910 to 1940, giving the bags a sweet tinge of nostalgia and history. Personally, I can never say no to a great canvas bag. They are perfectly light, durable, and versatile with their simple cream color. If you can’t make it to either of the shops for this limited edition collection, don’t fret, Forestbound designer Alice Saunders has an Etsy shop as well and I have yet to come across a bag of her’s that I didn’t adore.
