Adventure Begins with Temple

I came across Temple Bag Company the other day at one of my favorite local shops, J.E.M. Home Design. After looking over the impeccable craftsmanship and the salvaged materials i knew I had to find out more about the company. Temple bags are entirely American-made in Los Angeles, CA. Made with hand-picked authentic WWII-era military fabrics and constructed with the utmost care. Each product page on their website lists the materials used in the construction, the inspiration, and a video with depth product detail, otherwise known as the “Article Briefing”. One of my favorite pieces is their 15″ Laptop Sleeve, inspired by WWII post from loved ones abroad during the war, each one is made of WWII dead stock oil cloth and includes an authentic 1930’s-1940’s era European or American postage stamp. Temple sees their products as a way of re-purposing the adventure that their salvaged materials represent. Just as their slogan cleverly states, “adventure begins with Temple”.

  1. I first heard about Temple Bags close to a year ago (I think). They had just started out and didn’t have very many products. Now it looks like they have some very nice stuff! Thanks for posting this, it has rekindled my interest in them.
