Photographer Mikael Kennedy‘s series Passport to Trespass has sadly come to an end with the release of the final set of books, Vol. VIII and Vol. IX. The series documents years of travels with 500 Polaroids (of the 1,477 that Kennedy took). The results are beautiful shots of landscapes, people, architecture, and animals from locations including Wales, Puerto Rico, Maine, and Spain. Each shot is quiet and peaceful. There is thoughtful consideration that Kennedy gives each of the subjects. Whether it’s a bend in the road or a man in a doorway. You don’t just see the scene captured, you feel the temperature, you smell the surroundings, and you hear the nearby sounds. The Polaroids become eerily familiar as you remember a journey you once took that looked and felt similar to the ones captured by Kennedy.
