A few photos from our stay at The Marston House in Bonnieux, France. We spent quite a few days relaxing in the village (pictures at top) and enjoying people-watching or reading while eating pastries from the local boulangerie. We also explored some neighboring hill-top villages such as Lacoste, Menerbes, and Oppede Le Vieux. We tried to visit on days that they had open markets which were a wonderful way to really witness the local culture. One of our greatest feats was driving through the mountains to Chateau La Coste, a vineyard/outdoor art musuem (pictures at bottom). Teddy went crazy with this place, he loved the architecture, mostly by Tadao Ando, and the landscape design involved in pieces such as Frank Ghery’s sculpture. Would highly recommend visiting if you ever stay in the area.
