Worn Wear

Instead of encouraging mass consumption this Black Friday, Patagonia is releasing its short film Worn Wear, directed by the Malloy brothers (surf ambassadors for the brand). The film interviews individuals with their loved Patagonia gear from New Hampshire to Mexico, including a National Geographic photographer, a family with a maple syrup harvest, and a legendary alpinist. The film is an “exploration of quality – in the things we own and the lives we live.” So take a nod from Patagonia, and instead of filling your trunks and closets with goods you don’t need today, celebrate the pieces you already own and love. Don’t forget the stories and memories they might hold.
